Korcz (Janek Korczynski) is the latest signing to join the Anara Publishing roster. Born in 1999 in Gdansk, PL, Korcz currently lives in The Hague, NL where he works on his career as a recording artist and singer/songwriter. He’s been making music for more than half of his life with his primary instrument of the guitar; however, he treats this as a tool to use while producing.
Speaking of the signing, Jagoda Jagodzinska, Head of A&R at Anara Publishing explained:
“When I first listened to Korcz’s music I immediately knew he would be a great fit for our roster. We are extremely excited to be working with such a talented musician and songwriter as Janek and we’re looking forward to finding sync opportunities for his music!”
Major music influences include Bon Iver, John Mayer, Peter Gabriel, John Frusciante & many more. Recently, he fell in love with Khruangbin & Connan Mockasin’s music, which expanded his experimental and creation process.
Discussing his signing to Anara Publisihing, Korcz said:
“I chose Anara Publishing because I treat it as a natural step forward in my musical career. Our meetings & conversations were always smooth, which means a lot to me. I’m excited about this journey with Anara. Hopefully, we can create something interesting together.”
