Anara Publishing are delighted to announce that DORRR is the latest signing to our roster. DORRR is a dreamy nostalgic pop artist who is influenced by the likes of Cyndi Lauper, Stevie Nicks and The War On Drugs. Her career to date has seen her undertake world tours as part of the duo The Blind Suns, as well as becoming part of the Keychange programme in both 2020 and 2021. DORRR is originally from Poland, but currently resides in France.
The debut album, titled “Glitch and Glitter” addresses themes of joy, disappointment, and happiness. Speaking of the album, DORRR explains “The Glitch is the dark part, the dysfunction and the mechanical atmosphere, while the Glitter illuminates, embellishes, makes alive and magical. Unlike the albums made with my other bands, “Glitch & Glitter” was produced entirely in the countryside in intimate conditions.”
Jagoda Jagodzinska, Head of A&R and Sync for Anara Publishing, added: “I met Dorota at this year’s MaMA Festival in Paris and I could see how passionate she was talking about her solo project. After listening to her tracks I fell in love with her dreamy, nostalgic sound and I immediately knew that she was a great fit for our roster. We’re very excited to start working with DORRR’s existing catalogue and are looking forward to being involved in her future projects!”
