Harry Heart is the latest signing to join the Anara Publishing roster. With influences like St Vincent and James Blake, the British Australian multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter and producer, blends stadium rock with a DIY electronic aesthetic.

Leaving East London at the age of ten, Harry arrived in Bundaberg, Australia, and retained a strong British identity throughout his Australian upbringing. He was a finalist in Australian national radio station triple j’s high school band competition ‘Unearthed High’ twice at ages 14 and 16. His lyrics explore the challenges of his career and his nationalities, with frequent references to philosophy.

Having spent several years working to reclaim the success he experienced as a teenager, he returned to the UK in 2019 and created the record label Strange Method Music Group, specialising in NFTs and limited edition cassettes.

Discussing his signing with Anara Publishing, Harry Heart said:

“Anara has been flexible and transparent since I first met their team. I’m excited to work with a publisher that sees value in my work, and has taken the time to listen to my needs in our partnership.”

Speaking of the signing, Director of Anara Publishing said:

“We first met Harry at The Great Escape this year and instantly felt a connection with his songwriting. We’re really excited to be working with him as he continues to grow as a writer and artist.”
