Los Importantes de la Noche

Los Importantes de la Noche, hailing from Mexico City, are the latest additions to the Anara Publishing roster. Having formed in 2011, the band took a small break to focus on individual projects but they are now back and releasing new music. The deal sees Anara Publishing representing their new music in a worldwide deal.

With more than 20 years experience in the Mexican music scene, Los Importantes de la Noche are Gustavo Jacob on keyboards & vocals, Zulu González on bass & vocals and Ricardo Jacob on guitar, vocals & drums.

The band takes influences from the romantic songs of the 50’s, psychedelia and garage-punk from the 60’s. This is fused together along with their signature Latin sound.

Deborah Smith, Director of Anara Publishing, said of the signing “Los Importantes de la Noche are a pleasure to work with. Their music brings a whole new angle to our roster which is very exciting for us. We’re glad to finally have them on board and are looking forward to long and successful partnership!”

Los Importantes de la Noche’s Ricardo Jacob said “We are thrilled to be part of Anara Publishing’s eclectic roster. We love the way they relate to music from all over the world and see its potential. They seem to be a great hard working team and they like to work closely with their artists. That’s one thing we really appreciate. We are excited and can’t wait to see what happens in the future.”
