Singer-songwriter Piyush Bhisekar strives to create honest, raw, and nostalgic music. By using mainly piano and guitar, and layered with lyrics that are instantly relatable, he blends sounds together like a perfectly brewed cup of coffee. Since the release of his EP ‘Hai Bharosa’ and single ‘Sabr,’ Bhisekar has gathered millions of listeners online and has managed to sell out 4 digital 4 consecutive shows and a digital tour during the 2020 lockdown.
Following on from this, Bhisekar recently completed a successful, sold-out DIY 2021 tour to celebrate his EP in which he travelled and performed in Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur and Chandigarh. This same EP was also nominated for Independent Music Awards 2019 (New York City) in the best ‘World EP’ category. To add to the above, Piyush Bhisekar also has the experience of performing at notable music festivals in India, some of these include: Zomaland, Awaaz Studio festival, IIM Bangalore, BITS Pilani Hyderabad and TEDx.
