LVT is a multifaceted artist with an energetic presence. Having absorbed sounds from her home country Zimbabwe as well as Leicester and influences from UK and America, the rapper, singer/ songwriter and dj’s unmatched versatility, has made her a needle in the haystack in the entertainment world. The one-person powerhouse made her debut in the music world first performing at her Grandads church to performing in her school and college days and now at live events and open mic nights in Leicester at 2 Funky Music Cafe.
LVT has performed at the 02 Academy Islington, she went on to perform at the Riverside festival Festival2Funky supporting TheBeat Nuts, Eva Lazarus, Brew Beat Fest, Leicester Fashion Week, Glastonblaby Festival where she won Travers Rising Star 2023 and building outside of Leicester in London and Manchester. She has toured around the midlands which includes Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham and Derby.
LVT was awarded an Inspirational Artist Award in 2023 for her continuous hard work and consistency. She has been named by Pirates as one of the top artists to watch. LVT has worked with LOROS charity as she hosted and performed at their dying matters event. She has been featured on the BBC West Midlands News performing at the Hope Hack event in Coventry.
Currently LVT continues to build an impressive resume to her name with her music featured on P110, Linkup Tv and HardestBars. She has been played and interviewed on the BBC Introducing East Midlands by Dean Jackson and Aminata Kamara, of which she was artist of the week. Radio2funky, Eava Fm and Leicester Community Radios have played her music repeatedly, not to mention she has her on radio show with Radio2funky.
Born and raised in Mutare, Zimbabwe and coming to Leicester at a young age, LVT’s late Grandad realised early on she had a natural gift for singing and telling a story. With an unmatched work ethic and a hunger for musical success, she is set to become known as a musical chameleon, an honourable musician in R&B, Hiphop and Rap.
