He releases music under three distinct monikers -Moosa Saleem, MØXLM and Faanie, each exploring a different sonic palette.
After receiving global support, and support from some of the music industry heavyweights such as Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Don Diablo, Korolova, Alok, Nicky Romero, and Benny Benassi.
His music has echoed through iconic festivals such as Tomorrowland and Coachella, as well as major venues in Ibiza. In the past his releases have charted in the Top 50 across multiple countries, including Portugal, Mexico, Slovenia, and Austria.
In 2024, Moosa was named Best Electronic Artist of the Year at The Indian Music Diaries Awards, and has also been featured on more than 60 Spotify editorial playlists.
Beyond music, Moosa is a multidisciplinary artist. He has published four books and two graphic novellas, highlighting his depth as a writer. His creative journey extends into film, having worked in the direction department for acclaimed movies such as Laila Majnu, Haider, Shikara, and various European indie films — a testament to his multifaceted artistic vision.
