DVMA is an artist, DJ and producer whose music hits harder than her story. Brought up in the chaotic Brooklyn (just before it was gentrified), but more specifically Brighton Beach – where the city and waves meet. She has dealt with the deaths of family and friends, group homes, jail, and hustling to survive.

But over the last 17 years, DVMA has channeled her experiences into music, producing her own music, DJing, and touring across the US, Europe. Delivering sharp emotionally layered bars layered bars and melodies over heavy rums and smooth bassline.

Her voice is distinct, strong, gravelly, and sometimes sweet. Creating songs about summer love, betrayal, womanhood and vulnerability that feels insightful as they are infectious.

DVMA’s career includes features in HipHopDX, Vibe Magazine, and Viceland, and has opened for music icons such as the Wu-Tang Clan, The Lox, Boot Camp Clik, and performing at major festivals like SXSW, Vans Warped Tour, and Times Square for Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary.

Not only this but she’s a “Rap for a Stack” Winner, a multiple-time EOW MC Champ, a veteran of the underground and the global stages. She’s also been part of multiple collaborative projects with fellow female artists. DVMA recently became a mother and is touring with the 80s Legend Lisa Lisa and building her catalog in her home studio.

She’s a “Rap for a Stack” winner, multiple-time EOW MC champ, and a veteran of the underground and global stages. All the collaborative projects she has put out have been with fellow female artists. Now a new mother, DVMA is touring as a DJ with 80s Legend Lisa Lisa and building her catalog in her home studio.

“I chose Anara Publishing because they understand the value of a genre-bending, emotionally driven artist. I’m excited to build with Anara and get my music placed in spaces that match its depth and impact. I am also honored to be amongst such an eclectic, international group of talented musicians.”

Welcome to the Anara Family DVMA!
