Anara Publishing are pleased to announce the signing of Siddharth Basrur to their roster. The deal sees Siddharth’s work represented for publishing and sync worldwide.
Siddharth is at the forefront of the independent music scene in Mumbai. He is part of alternative rock outfit Last Remaining Light and progressive band Goddess Gagged, who have both played shows across India. He has also performed with the likes of Karsh Kale, Midivl Punditz, Ox7gen amongst others. Siddharth has recently formed his latest solo project Runt and released his debut EP ‘Rhymes With’ in 2017. He is currently in the studio working on Runt’s second EP.
He is also an established playback singer. Siddharth has lent his voice to several Bollywood movies such as Players and David, Baaghi, and Raman Raghav 2.0. In addition, he has composed music for advertising for the likes of Tata Sky, Acer and Surf Excel as well as promos for Nickelodeon, Sonic and Star Movies.
Of the signing, Siddharth Basrur said “I’m really happy to be part of Anara Publishing. Their sister concern, Horus Music, has already been a great help when it comes to distributing my music. So, I’m really looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with them.”
