Anara Publishing are pleased to announce that Bombay based singer-songwriter Tejas has joined their roster. The deal sees his critically acclaimed debut LP Make It Happen represented for sync licensing and publishing worldwide as well as his future releases.

With a sound compared to the likes of Maroon 5, Craig David, Jason Mraz and Ed Sheeran, Tejas uses a variety of grooves and landscapes to define his own signature sound. Whether it’s a 4-piece horn section, synthesisers, heavy guitars or just a single acoustic guitar, this is brought together in feel good pop songs perfect for a sunny drive around town.

Of the signing, Tejas said “I’m stoked to join Anara Publishing, because honestly they have been more excited about getting my music out there than I have been! Any person who actively pursues me for my music and can see the value in it, is an asset to my career and I’m just glad they can see the potential of it at this stage. Thanks Anara! May the Force be with us.”

Deborah Smith, Director of Anara Publishing said “Tejas’ music crosses borders and is toe-tapping, fun pop music which is a great addition to our roster. We’ve already had great feedback from our sync network around the world and we’re looking forward to working with Tejas in the next stages of his career.”

Make It Happen topped the iTunes India Pop Chart and went to #3 on the iTunes All-Genre Chart, making Tejas only the second independent Indian artist to make it to the top 3. He has been featured by the likes of Buzzfeed, Elle and Red Bull. Tejas is currently working on new music to be released later this year.
